Menu suggestions – Buffet, Brunch, Breakfast
We have put together some buffet suggestions for you, but we are open to your own personal wishes and will be happy to help you put them into practice. Of course, we are open to any changes or additions to our buffet suggestions. There are no limits to your imagination.
We will be happy to assist you in creating the perfect setting for your celebration, whether at your home or at our premises. If a buffet is not to your taste, we also offer 3-course menus, which can be supplemented with additional starters. In addition to our wide range of dishes, we can also provide a drinks service, according to your requirements, either on a consumption basis or as a flat rate.
More enjoyment – eating and experiencing regionality
Our restaurant places great emphasis on the use of fresh, seasonal produce from the surrounding area. The restaurant’s menu is regularly updated to reflect seasonal produce, using the best and freshest ingredients. Traditional recipes and preparation methods from the region are incorporated into the dishes to give guests an authentic culinary experience.
Eel soup, for example, made with eel, herbs and cream, has a long tradition in northern German cuisine. A popular winter dish is ‘Kale’, served with a hearty ‘Pinkelwurst’ (smoked black pudding). Also popular are Finkenwerder Scholle, plaice fried with bacon and onions, and Matjes, young salted herrings served with onions, apples and cream sauce. Red fruit jelly, made from fresh raspberries, strawberries and redcurrants, often served with vanilla sauce or cream, is a very popular dessert. Visit our restaurant and let us surprise you.
Vegetarian and vegan
Vegetarian and vegan diets have both health and ethical reasons. They emphasise the consumption of plant-based foods, which are rich in fibre, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. In both diets, it is important to choose a balanced and varied range of foods to get all the nutrients you need.
We also offer vegetarian and vegan meals as an alternative to our fish and meat dishes. While we still use animal products such as dairy (milk, yoghurt, cheese) and eggs in the vegetarian preparation, the vegan menus exclude all forms of animal products, i.e. not only meat, poultry and fish, but also eggs, dairy products, honey and other animal by-products.
