Tradition meets modernity

Loved by almost everyone, already able to convince many and tirelessly in action. We are pleased to introduce our new employee “Bella”.
Bella is a real eye-catcher: she is our new service employee and helps the service staff with their daily work. Bella serves as a support and in no way as a replacement, because no one can replace our staff. According to Olaf Thomsen, the traditional and the standing should be kept and enhanced by modernity.
It serves as a perfect complement to our valued staff. Our “traditional” service staff can take even more time to recommend the right wine, find out the most suitable dish for you or simply have a pleasant conversation with you and give you a positive feeling. After all, the ambience is much better to enjoy that way….
Serving guests is still done by our service staff. Bella only serves as a support for serving the food. So – especially with larger groups – all plates can be brought to your table at once and no one has to wait for the last missing dish until everyone can start enjoying the meal. So by providing support, an employee can take on this task alone. According to Olaf Thomsen, this makes the work easier, but does not save any manpower.
A special highlight is the cute-sounding cat voice, which says in a friendly way that your food has arrived and a waitress will be along shortly. The display also resembles a cat. Especially for children’s birthdays, when Bella arrives with music and sends a personal birthday greeting, the kids are beside themselves and don’t even want Bella to leave.
The installation was very time-consuming. It took the installer almost ten hours to get everything set up. First, a restaurant plan was created and Bella had to be pushed once through all the rooms so that the distances and paths could be scanned. There are cameras on the lower part of the robot that sense the surroundings so that obstacles can be avoided if necessary.
